Dr Javier Perez is a committed, down to earth professional who has more than a decade of experience working in clinics all over London. He has spent many years perfecting his craft of placing and restoring dental implants in order to offer the highest level of care and outcome. A father of two, Javier has trained in some of the most prestigious institutions here and abroad and currently holds a clinical contract in the maxillofacial department at the hospital. He was drawn to dentistry as it combines two of his passions, patient care and oral surgery.

Special interest in Oral Surgery & Dental Implants

Dr Javier Perez graduated in Dentistry from the University of Alfonso X in Madrid, Spain in 2010. Following some time working in private practice there, he decided to move to London in order to develop his advancing career.
As his clinical career grew so did his interest in oral surgery and dental implants. In 2013, he travelled to Brazil to complete an international intensive course in Implantology, which led him to carry out a year-long Certificate in Implantology in the city of Manchester in 2014.

Dr Perez soon became inundated with patients seeking to place dental implants. It was important to him to be able to offer the very best care and up to date methods, thus embarking onto a bigger challenge, the three-year long Masters in Implant Dentistry in the city of London. Following enormous effort to complete the programme as well as fulfilling all work commitments with several dental practices at the same time, he successfully gained his Masters in Implant Dentistry in 2018.

Following his Masters Javier has continued to develop the knowledge and skills needed to deliver excellent results in implantology and has very high patient satisfaction.
Not one to shy away from learning Javier has most recently (2020) been awarded with a Diploma in Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, one of the most prestigious colleges in UK.

At present, Dr Perez holds a clinical post in Oral Surgery at the Maxillofacial Unit in the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in South England. He also works between a number of London based clinics offering his patients a high level of care in surgical procedures, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. As a highly valued member of each team he works for, supporting his colleagues with up to date knowledge and skill, he takes on the most challenging of surgical and restorative cases in each practice as his team members refer cases which are beyond their skill set.

According to patient testimonials he is approachable and understanding, preferring to put patient concerns over treatment needs. He makes even the most nervous of patients feel at ease in his care, understanding that undergoing a surgical procedure can be a daunting process.

Dr Perez regularly attends National and International conferences to develop his skills and learn about the latest trends in Implantology.
Outside of work Javier spends the majority of his time with his young family, recently welcoming a new son (October, 2021). He enjoys spending weekends exploring London, especially going to local food markets.
